Sequel Too, Deja Vu - "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation"

On this show our specialty will be all sequels, sequels and more sequels. From the good ones, to the bad ones, to even the really ugly ones we'll be covering them all.  This will include prequels and reboots, and maaaybe even a remake or two.  We've got homicidal maniacs that won't stay in the grave, sci-fi epics whose stories cannot be told in a single tale, and much much more. For our 5th episode we are covering what could possibly be one of the WORST sequels ever made, the 1997 stinker "MORTAL KOMBAT: ANNIHILATION" based on the infamous line of video games.  A sequel to the permissible original 1995 MORTAL KOMBAT, 'Annihilation' somehow manages to fail on every level making the grandest crash and burn ever committed to film.  Our hosts this episode are Cameron Scott and returning guest co-host special effects artist Deryk Wehrley and they will tear this cinematic mess apart and take you on a stroll down memory lane that proves sometimes lightning doesn't strike twice.
