Monday Nov 01, 2021
Monday Nov 01, 2021
On our show, "Howling At The Full Moon" for our 18th episode we're reviewing the gorgeous and grotesque 2021 extravaganza "THE RESONATOR: MISKATONIC U". Directed by William Butler, The Resonator is a homage if you will to the Stuart Gordon efforts of yesterday that delved deep into Lovecraftian lore. This soft reboot/sequel to the classic 'From Beyond' and other chapters ofthe mythos of the Elder Gods is some of the slickest work to come from Full Moon in years. Crawford Tillinghast continues his fathers work experimenting with a device called the Resonator, a device that tears away inhibitions and may just rip a hole in the fabric of reality itself. Join our hosts Dustin Hubbard and Cameron Scott as they delve into a Full Moon classic in the making that just goes to prove that evil is from beyond!
This is the 18th episode in a series of shows all about Charles Band's Full Moon entertainment Empire where we've got mad scientists, sci-fi epics, and rabid clowns all in one place! Sequel Too, Deja Vu - ”Silent Night Deadly Night 2”
Monday Oct 25, 2021
Monday Oct 25, 2021
On this show, our specialty is sequels, sequels, and more sequels. From the good ones, to the bad ones, to the really ugly ones, we'll be covering them all! We've got homicidal maniacs that won't stay in the grave, sci-fi epics whose stories cannot be told in a single tale, and much much more. For our 10th episode, we have chosen what is widely regarded as a real stinker in the 1987 cinematic misfire "SILENT NIGHT DEADLY NIGHT 2". Directed by Lee Harry, this follow up to the 1984 killer Santa on the loose shocker fails to deliver on almost every level but still manages to entertain and tickle our funny bones somehow. Witness a sequel so lazy that most of the films running time consists of footage from the original flick. Join Cameron Scott and his returning co-host, Eric Phillips on a trip that takes us through the mind of serial killer Ricky and his destiny towards "Garbage Day!" This is truly a tale of a nightmare that never ends!
