Join us as we dissect the classics that prove sometimes fear comes with subtitles. Our hosts for the fourth voyage are Cameron Scott and filmmaker/musician Thomas Berdinski as they take a journey in breaking down the 1989 Italian science-fiction/horror/action hybrid "SHOCKING DARK" from late director Bruno Matteo (aka Vincent Dawn). Cinema Degeneration welcomes you to enjoy some Take Out while we explore a polluted and dystopian futuristic Venice, evil corporations, killer androids and murderous aliens! 'Killer Wheels Appreciation Month' was technically over with our previous episode on "CHRISTINE" but we here at Cinema Degeneration felt we owed you just one more! We have devoted weeks of time to demonic cars, psychopathic bulldozers, murderous motorcycles, and now for something a little different! These Killer Wheels all have something in common: they all seem to have a mind of their own! For Episode #8 which we are naming 'The Redemption Episode' to make up for the horrible start of things with the boring and banal "THE HEARSE", we are dissecting a real cult classic that continues to divide fans even a decade after it's release with the infamous "RUBBER" from 2010. This flick is all about a killer car tire named Robert that has the power to blow things up with their mind. Yes, you read that right. This one has to be seen to be believed. Cameron Scott and his frequent film co-collaborator and returning guest host Rebecca Rinehart dive into this obscure tale of that centers around the ideal of 'No Reason.' Are you tired of the unexpected, because you'll never see this one coming!

Today we discuss the grand champion of which there is none higher: the 1983 "CHRISTINE" written by Stephen King and directed by John Carpenter. Christine is the lethal lady in red who destroys the lives of everyone unlucky enough to gaze upon her. The hosts for this episode are regular host Cameron Scott and his wife and co-host of Creature Feature Dinner Theater and the one who really keeps Cinema Degeneration running like a well oiled machine, Patty Scott. Join the two of them for a tale of the unfortunate Arnie Cunningham and a 1958 Plymouth Fury that has homicidal impulses told as only in the way that the Master of Terror Stephen King can!

Joining host Cameron Scott is regular co-conspirator and frequent collaborator, filmmaker and podcaster Rebecca Rineheart. This was a first time watch for both hosts, so you just might be as surprised with their thoughts on this flick as they were.
